Cafe construction in progress

The Legacy Cafe has undergone significant upgrades over the last few weeks. David Crain of DAC Creative Solutions has been transforming the interior while his vision outside is coming to fruition.

J & J Specialty Lawn and Landscape has landscaped the adjacent courtyard, Pierce Decorative Concrete poured and stamped the concrete and Ricky Smith Welding installed the unique steel fence.  The Legacy Cafe will be open to the public Monday through Friday for breakfast and lunch. The cafe will not only serve a made-from-scratch menu with  fresh, whole ingredients, but also will serve as an experiential training environment for participants in our Legacy Youth Development program.

The Legacy Youth Development program will serve young people between the ages of 16-24 who are out of work and out of school by teaching them life and occupational skills and help them to overcome social barriers to employment.
