Retired Army Sergeant First Class Troy O’Rourke delivered the keynote address at Northwestern State University Elementary Lab School’s Veteran’s Day program, which welcomed grandparents of students and all who served in the U.S. Armed Forces. O’Rourke discussed service, patriotism and courage and answered questions from students about military life. The program was hosted by the 4-H Club with members leading each portion as veterans from every service branch were recognized.Veterans from all branches of the U.S. armed forces were recognized during a Veteran’s Day program and Northwestern State University Elementary Lab School. The school’s 4-H Club led the program that included a slide show of student and faculty family members who are veterans and a short film that paid tribute to each branch of the armed services.
