Jameson LaCaze, 7, went on an evening hunting trip Nov. 3 with his Pop Pop Danny Thomas in the northern part of Natchitoches Parish.
It was his first time hunting. Jameson said he enjoyed “listening to the woods” but was more excited about shooting his first deer.
Jameson is the son of Thorn and Danna LaCaze of Natchitoches and grandson of Danny and Debbie Thomas of Chestnut and El and Nell LaCaze of Boyce. His great-grandmother is Mary Ann Motter of Campti.
