He was many things to many people, and my greatest teacher who never called class to order, but taught by example: Wasn’t the type to call attention to himself.
Strong sense of right and wrong.
Committed to serving…he left home lots of times in the middle of the night to make house calls, even after having a day of office appointments, hospital rounds or both.
Cared a lot about people…he didn’t turn patients away if they didn’t have insurance or the ability to pay for medical care.
We’ll lay the body to rest soon, but the person lives on.
