The Lady Mustangs cruised to victory Monday night against in-town rival NSU Middle Lab Lady Demons. From the outset, both teams seemed to be nervous missing their first three shots until the Lady Mustang’s Maddie Robinson hit the first shot to put Magnet on the board. The Lady Demons were looking to answer but came up short on a long distance shot by Morgan LaCour. The Lady Mustangs rebounded the ball, but turned it over to Lab after the ball went out of bounds.

The Lady Demons gained possession but we’re still unable to put points on the scoreboard. The Lady Demons and Lady Mustangs continued to play hard throughout the game, however the Lady Mustangs converted on the majority of their shots to take home the victory 26-8. Leading scorers for the Lady Mustangs were Aaniyah Hardwell and Victoria Robinson with 6 points each.
The Lady Demons were led by Kennedi Nelson, Gracie Moore and Morgan LaCour.
