Natchitoches Parish Sheriff’s Deputies, La. State Police, Natchitoches Regional Medical Center EMS, NPSO Rescue, Natchitoches Parish Fire Districts 6, Natchitoches City Fire Department Rescue, Natchitoches Parish Fire District 9 Rescue and Life Air responded to a two-vehicle crash on La. Hwy 6 East near Payne Subdivision Thursday, Dec. 6 at approximately 9:05 a.m.
The operator of a 2002 Cadillac, believed to be from Winn Parish, suffering from serious injuries was extricated from the wreckage.
He was airlifted from the scene to Rapides Regional Trauma Center.
Traffic on La. Hwy 6 East was diverted into Payne Subdivision while the crash was investigated.
