He was born March 23, 1947, to Emilie Sophie Busch and Frederick Cree Hall Jr. in Chicago, Ill. After the passing of his biological father, Fred was adopted by his stepfather, Harold Boring.

Fred enjoyed spending time at his home with his two little dogs, Emma and Little Bit. They would spend hours comforting Fred through the day and night. Fred’s pastime was playing pool. He loved to “run the tables” against the younger “kids” that didn’t think he was “experienced.” He enjoyed showing the “youngins” pool tricks. He loved visiting his son and grandchildren in Creston and watching the boys’ fish in the pond. The most important person to Fred was is youngest son, Justin. Justin was selfless enough to move in with Fred about five years ago and become his caregiver. Justin took care of Fred every day until the end. Fred was able to depend on Justin to take him to doctor appointments, the store or to visit family.
Fred will be dearly missed by his friends and family.
