Cane River Creole National Historical Park resumes full operations

With the enactment of the continuing resolution, Cane River Creole National Historical Park will reopen to the public at noon today, Monday, Jan. 28. Staff are taking time to ensure the grounds and buildings are safe to the public since the park has been closed since Dec. 22. Visit www.nps.gov/cari for updated information park.

“Cane River Creole National Historical Park’s employees are happy to be back at work, serving the American people and welcoming visitors to their national parks,” said Carrie Mardorf, park superintendent.
