Kenneth Allen Bivens was born Nov. 20, 1944, in Springfield, Ohio, to Archie and Marie Bivens and passed away Feb. 3, 2019, at Subjective Home Care in Houston.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Archie and  Marie Bivens;  daughters,  Kimberly Lisa Bivens; first wife, Judy Valentine Bivens Morton; and Dewanna Bivens, wife of 23 years.

He survived by his son, Kenneth Bivens II and wife Angela of Pinehurst, Texas; daughters, Kristina Harris and Ron McMaster of Pineville, and Debbie and husband Burt Milberg of St. Louis, Mo.; step-son, Edward Green of Rogersville, Mo.; step-daughter, Shelia Green of Colfax; sisters, Ann and husband Carl Villemarette or Gardner, and Sue and husband George Ober of Richland, Mo; 13 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; nephews and nieces, family and friends.

A service to honor his life will be at 2 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 7 at Blanchard-St. Denis Funeral Home with Bro. Gary Snyder officiating.  Burial will follow at Memory Lawn Cemetery.  The family will receive friends from 10 a.m. until service time at the funeral home.

Those honored to serve as pallbearers will be Derek Bivens, T.J. Coleman, Justin Harris, Bradley Harris, Isaiah Bivens and Edward Green.

Honorary pallbearers will be Carl Villemarette, George Ober, Ron McMaster, Scott Corley, Michael Corley, Allen Green, Allen Enloe, Dallas Enloe and Irvin Enloe.
