The Northwestern State softball home opener against Fairleigh Dickinson has been postponed to Wednesday at 1 p.m. for the doubleheader.
The expectation of rain and severe weather along with large amounts of rainfall expected Tuesday evening prompted the move.
The Lady Demons are also scheduled to host the Natchitoches Historic District Development Commission Lady Demon Classic this weekend at Lady Demon Diamond.
NSU will play a combined five games against Arkansas-Pine Bluff, Houston Baptist and St. Louis with a total of 10 games occurring at Lady Demon Diamond from Friday-Sunday.
