NATCHITOCHES – The Columns Café at Northwestern State University will serve a Mardi Gras-themed dinner beginning at 6 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 28. The dinner will include crawfish pies with remoulade, Chef Leah Chase’s Gumbo Z’Herbs, pecan-crusted breast of chicken and house-prepared king cakes.
The Columns Café is located in Room 225 of the Family and Consumer Sciences Building and is open for dinner once per month offering a four-course locally sourced meal prepared from scratch by students in NSU’s culinary arts program.
Seating is limited and will be directed so that all seats are filled. Tickets are $45. Proceeds go to direct support of HMT students and programming.
