Strong to Severe Thunderstorms will be possible Saturday Morning through the afternoon across the Four State Region…
Timing and Overview:
Thunderstorms will likely be ongoing across portions of the Four State Region early Saturday Morning but will be concentrated to the north and west of the Interstate 30 Corridor of Northeast Texas and Southwest Arkansas. This line of storms will move quickly into the remainder of the Four State Region during the morning and into the early afternoon hours (see graphic).
Four State Impacts:
Impacts: Damaging wind gusts, large hail and tornadoes will be possible with these storms during the day Saturday. In addition, brief heavy downpours will be possible with the convection today through Saturday. An additional one to two inches of rainfall with isolated higher amounts will be possible through Saturday with the heavier amounts likely across portions of Northern Louisiana and Southern Arkansas (see graphic).
