Lakeview defeated Capitol 60-53. #5 Lakeview will face #4 Ville Platte in the quarterfinals Friday, March 1 with the home court advantage.
Natchitoches Central defeated Southward to advance to the quarterfinals. They will have stiff competition in #1 seeded Thibodaux on the South Louisiana team’s home court.
St. Mary’s defeated Houma Christian to advance. (See story in today’s print edition) The #5 seeded Tigers will face #4 seed Opelousas Catholic who will have the home court advantage.
