NATCHITOCHES – Northwestern State University’s Department of English, Foreign Languages and Cultural Studies will screen Spanish language films from around the world during March and April.
A new film will be screened every Wednesday at 7 p.m. and every Sunday at 5 p.m. March 6-27 and April 7-14. Screenings are free and will take place in Room 206 of the Creative and Performing Arts building.
Viewers can catch a new film every week in the following order: “Birdboy: The Forgotten Children,” “Delicate Balance,” “Neruda,” “On the Roof” and “The Future Perfect.” Participants can also purchase raffle tickets to win one of three prize baskets.
The Spanish Film Club series was made possible with the support of Pragda, SPAIN arts & culture, and the Secretary of State for Culture of Spain. Additional support comes from the Foreign Language Lab.
