By Hannah Richardson
Ricky Raley, a paralyzed U.S. Army Veteran, and his team from the Boot Campaign made a brief stop in Natchitoches Tuesday, March 16 before continuing on their 1,200 mile, 15 day mission. They are raising funds and awareness for the campaign, which is a national nonprofit organization dedicated to igniting the inner patriot in all Americans and providing life-improving programs to veterans and active duty military families. Raley and the team left Dallas Saturday, April 13, with Raley operating a hand-crank cycle and will continue to do so until they arrive in Ft. Pierce, Fla., on Saturday, April 27.
