Cane River Creole National Historical Park announces a new daily-guided tour that kicked off National Park Week Saturday, April 20! National Park Week is a time to explore amazing places, discover stories of history and culture, help out and find your park.

New Daily Guided Tour Schedule:

Oakland Plantation:

Main House Tours offered at 10:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. Tour size is limited to 15 people per tour.

Cabin Talk offered at 1 p.m.

Magnolia Plantation:

Grounds Tour offered at 2:30 p.m.

The grounds of Oakland and Magnolia Plantations are open daily from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Nearly 80 original buildings remain, many open for self-guided tours including several that are historically furnished. The park also offers a cell phone tour. Park staff conduct guided tours of the historically furnished rooms in the Oakland Main House. The Magnolia Main House is still privately owned and is not open to the public.
