The Natchitoches Central High School track and field teams competed at the District 2 meet hosted by Ouachita High School at the track and field facility at University of Louisiana – Monroe.

It was a windy day, but the team battled through the adverse weather conditions and competed hard. Both teams finished fifth. NCHS qualified several members to run in the Regional Meet by placing in the top four in their respective event.

The girls had great performances on the track and the field.

They qualified for the Regional Meet in the 100 meter dash, 100 meter hurdles, 4×100 meter relay, pole vault, shot put and discus.

Cooper Miller won the 1600 meter run to retain his position as District Champion from last year and was runner up in the 3200 meter run.

Despite injuries that held some of the boys out, they qualified for Regionals in 12 events.
