Funeral services for Barbara Fay Fletcher, 72, of Fairview Alpha will be at 1 p.m. Sunday, May 19 at Rockett-Nettles Funeral Home Chapel, Coushatta, with Bro. Olan McLaren officiating. Interment will follow in Zion Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6-9 p.m. Saturday, May 18 at the funeral home.
Mrs. Fletcher was born Oct. 11, 1946, in Campti and passed away May 15, 2019. Barbara was co-owner of Fletcher’s Automotive in Shreveport for over 30 years. She enjoyed spending time outdoors working in her yard, especially with her flowers. She also had a passion for shopping and antiquing. Barbara loved her family and her great-grandchildren had a special place in her heart. She was always involved and very supportive of them in their sports and other activities. She will be dearly missed by all those who knew and loved her.
Barbara was preceded in death by her husbands, Dewey Glenn Nealy Sr. and James Lloyd Fletcher; mother, Frances LeBrun; and infant brother.
Mrs. Fletcher is survived by one son, Duggie Nealy and wife Shack of Black Lake; one daughter, Trenna Mundy and husband Calvin of Fairview Alpha; nine grandchildren, Peyton and wife Chelsea, Eli, Paige and husband Eric, Cody and fiancee’ Lanie, Brittney, Whittney and husband Cody, T-Ray and fiancee’ Amber, Derek and wife Ariel, and Perri; 14 great-grandchildren: Riley, Hayden, Emery, Laken, Dalynn, Nova, Lexi, Tootie, Daygen, Chanz, Karsyn, Bryson, River and Case; and special friends, Kaye Dalton, Marie Roberts and Lucy Morreau.
Pallbearers will be Peyton Freeman, Cody Nealy, T-Ray Moore, Calvin Mundy, Bud Nealy and Tyler Griffith.
Honorary pallbearers will be Arthur Nealy, Kevin Nealy, Eli Nealy, Chubby LeBrun, Michael LeBrun and Bruce LeBrun.
