A Mass of Christian Burial for Pamala Gail Trichel, 58, of Black Lake will be at 11 a.m. Thursday, May 30 at Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary Catholic Church with Father George Pookkattu as celebrant.  Interment will follow in Our Lady of the Rosary Cemetery.  Visitation will be from 6-9 p.m. Wednesday, May 29 at Rockett-Nettles Funeral Home, Coushatta.  Rosary will be Wednesday evening at the funeral home.

Ms. Trichel was born March 8, 1961, in Jonesboro and passed away May 24, 2019.  Pam loved music, especially Elvis Presley, and dancing. She also enjoyed playing with babies and playing Bingo.  Pam loved her family and her church and will be dearly missed by all those who knew and loved her.

She was preceded in death by her father, Mervin Trichel; step-father, Aubrey Mathews Jr.; step-brother, Aubrey “Skip” Mathews; grandmother, Lucille Alamond; grandfather, Pola Alamond; grandparents, Murrell and Mayberda LaCour; and grandfather, Boyd Trichel.

Ms. Trichel is survived by her mother, Helen Jeanette Mathews of Black Lake; brother, Jackie Trichel and wife Debbie of Corning, Iowa; several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and special friends; and Linda Hines and Holly Cason (Cancer Center).

Pallbearers will be Matt Bell, Chris Bell, Kevin Hill, Kyle Hill, Ethan Kellogg and Jimmy Rhymes.

The family would like to thank everyone for their love, support and prayers as well as Christus Coushatta ER, Dr. Wyche Coleman, Natchitoches Cancer Center, Christus Highland ICU nurses and staff and Cornerstone Specialty Hospital.
