It was a proud moment for Registrar of Voters Kathrin Woodard Holden when she received the oath of office Tuesday morning. Holden expressed her thanks to the Parish Council members who appointed her and to family, friends and co-workers who supported her. Among the family members there were, from left, cousins Betty Payne and Reath Blake; sisters Lori Humphrey and Gayle Pattain; mother Shirley Woodard; Holden, daughter Lauren, husband Curtis and son Jonathan Holden; and brother-in-law Marvin Pattain.
Registrar of Voters Kathrin Woodard Holden will have two assistants in her office. From left are Confidential Assistant Shaneka Turner, Holden and Chief Deputy Debbie Tebbetts. Holden completed state ethics and sexual harassment training last week and representatives of the La. Secretary of State will visit her office soon to provide more training.
