La. Department of Wildlife & Fisheries (LDAF) Enforcement Agents and Natchitoches Parish Sheriff’s Deputies are investigating the illegal dumping of over 100 tires in the Spanish Lake community in west Natchitoches Parish.
On May 2, NPSO received complaints of over 145 automotive tires illegally dumped at two locations; Lake Cemetery Road near the St. Ann Cemetery and near the intersections of Lake Cemetery Road and Allen-Marthaville Road in the Spanish Lake area near Allen.
Deputies requested assistance from LDWF agents working in Natchitoches Parish since they also assist and investigate littering complaints.
Since that time, LDWF agents have gathered information into suspects involved.
A vehicle believed to be involved is reportedly a silver Ford crew-cab pickup truck pulling a trailer.
