Balloon release in memory of co-worker

Employees gathered to honor the memory of their co-worker, Elonzeya Zoleah Teal-Houston.

Employees of Lots O’ Luck Casino in Coushatta gathered Friday, June 7 to release balloons in memory of their co-worker, Elonzeya Zoleah Teal-Houston. Houston was found in a rear room of a residence in the 300 block of Greenville Drive in Clarence Monday, June 3.  She was pronounced dead at the scene.

Her husband, Christopher O’Neal Houston, has been arrested and charged with one count of second-degree murder and one count of first-degree feticide in connection with her death. Houston was five months pregnant at the time of her death.

Chris Houston was transferred from the Natchitoches Parish Detention Center to the Red River Parish Jail July 6.
