Louis, 69, and a resident of Natchitoches passed away Sunday, June 16, 2019. He was born Dec. 11, 1949, to Louis Metoyer Sr. and Rebecca Rachal Metoyer in Natchitoches.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
For almost 50 years he served his community as a T.V. Technician, but there wasn’t anything he couldn’t fix. He was a parishioner of St. Anthony and a devout Catholic. He enjoyed assisting with bingo at the church and fellowship with his church family. His family was the most important part of his life, especially his grandchildren that brought him so much joy. He would jokingly inform everyone that his greatest achievements were always accomplished in 1959. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather and will be dearly missed by his family and friends.
His memory will be cherished by his wife, Beverly Antee Metoyer; children, Louis Metoyer III (Marie), Brian Metoyer (LaQuita) and Rebecca Jones (Patrick); grandchildren, Bianca Owens, Malik Metoyer, James Metoyer, Bishop Jones, Nakayla Metoyer, Brilee Metoyer, Kayden Jones, Titus Jones and Brian Metoyer Jr.; an aunt who was like a mother, Rita Roque; a dear friend and mentor, Merlin Robinson. Although he was an only child there were two people that were like a sister and brother, Debra Bayonne and Joe Roque.
