Yvonne was blessed with a wonderful long life and lived it to the fullest. She lived it her way. Mother left us July 9, 2019, to join her beloved mother to dance the streets of gold.
A celebration of life service will be Friday, July 12 at 11 a.m. at Kisatchie Baptist Church, 1809 Hwy 118 W, Provencal, with interment to follow at Union Cemetery in Kisatchie.
The family will hold visitation Thursday, July 11 from 5-9 p.m. at Blanchard-St. Denis Funeral Home in Natchitoches and again Friday from 10 a.m. until service time at the church.
Yvonne is predeceased by her mother, Yvonne June Taylor; father, James Elvis Taylor Sr.; and brothers James Elvis Taylor Jr. and Kenneth Wade Taylor.
Surviving Yvonne are her children, Emily June Settle and husband Trent and Rose Marie Jones and husband Lawrence; grandchildren, Taylor Dene’ Garland and fiance’ Austin Barnhart, Garrett Cole Settle, Scott Edward Settle and Kaitlyn Leann Settle; great-grandson, Kayson Ross Barnhart and expecting the second great-grandchild early next year; brothers, Steven Taylor and Kevin Taylor; as well as uncles, aunts, cousins, nieces and nephews.
Yvonne loved spending time with family and friends. Her happiest times were spent with her grandchildren and great-grandson. She was a hard-working woman and made many friends throughout her entire life. She loved to enjoy the natural beauty, peace, and quiet of Kisatchie Falls. Yvonne will be greatly missed by many, but we know she is at peace in the arms of her Mother and other family who went before her.
Those honored to serve as pallbearers include Trent Settle, Lawrence Jones, Joel Taylor, Brad Taylor, Jared Taylor, Blain Gibson and James Webb.
Honorary pallbearers are Austin Barnhart, Garrett Settle and Kayson Barnhart.
Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital.
