The Natchitoches Times has confirmed Johnny Dubois was taken into custody shortly before 9:30 a.m. Friday, July 26.

Authorities located Dubois in the Sirod Street area near Pearson-Mallett Park. LSP, NPSO, NPD and the Winn Chase Team captured the suspect who ran when he heard the chase team dogs. He was chased down by NPD officers and NPSO deputies.

The Natchitoches Police Department is asking the public for assistance in locating suspect, Johnny

Dubois, w/m, 165 pounds, around 5 feet 11 inches, age 33, in connection with the following incident:

An NPD officer attempted to stop a vehicle on Keyser Avenue around 7:47 p.m. Thursday, July 25 operated by Dubois. He refused to stop and led police on a pursuit that ended near Ralph Street.

If you see Dubois contact the Natchitoches Police Department at (318) 352-8101.  Do not attempt to apprehend or detain this individual by yourself. Dubois is considered to be armed and dangerous.  Remember all information given shall remain confidential.
