Funeral services for Mrs. Lyndle Bernice Potts, 69, of Black Lake were at 2 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 10 at Family Worship Center with Ivy Davis Sr. officiating and Sister Linda Chance assisting. Interment followed in Black Lake Cemetery. Funeral services under the direction of Rockett-Nettles Funeral Home, Coushatta.

Mrs. Potts was born Dec. 7, 1949, in Natchitoches and passed away Aug. 8, 2019.

She loved to crochet; especially dolls, quilting and sewing. Mrs. Potts enjoyed playing cards and loved spending time with her family. She will be dearly missed by all those who knew and loved her.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Bud and Alma Sullivan; two sisters, Lennie Matthews and Hope Potts; and niece, Sherry Sullivan.

Mrs. Potts is survived by her husband of 35 years, Billy Potts of Black Lake; one son, Bubba Williams and wife Kim of Black Lake; two daughters, Cathy Williams and fiance’ John of Black Lake and Billie Nicole Tatum and husband Herman of Saline; one brother, Sherrill Sullivan and wife Jean of Black Lake; nine grandchildren, Heather, Morgan, Adriana, Raegen, Justin, Dugen, Ericlynn, Trey and Lia Jane; three great-grandchildren, Jaysea, Gatlin and Everette; and a host of very special nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers were Daniel Wyatt, Randy Potts, Junior Potts, Derrick Davis, Chris Sullivan and Brandon Sullivan.

Honorary pallbearers were Justin Potts, Dugen Hays and Trey Williams.
