JT must have missed something. What is all the hype surrounding the Popeye’s chicken sandwich? Why is there even hype?
Why are some Popeye’s and Chick-Fil-A restaurants getting into a battle of words using their business signs?
JT is shaking his head. He just doesn’t understand how people can jump on every little bitty bandwagon that comes through.
From the ice bucket challenge which was supposed to be a fundraiser, to the blue/gold dress to sandwiches, it all has JT asking himself what the fuss is all about. JT has issues to deal with, none of them a sandwich. He would be just as happy with a ham and cheese, a burger, BLT or PB&J. Maybe it has something to do with we live in a society that is instant and any time we can’t get what we want, when we want and how we want we, as a culture, turn into tantrum throwing 2-year-olds. Or maybe, just maybe, it’s a publicity stunt by corporations to advertise their product and we’re falling for it like a cliff jumper off Everest.

More folks are formally announcing their candidacies. JT sees most are outlining their platforms in their announcements and are making their stands clear on a number of issues including gun control, abortion, taxes and roads. That’s good information to have. Voters know where the candidates stand.
Everyone says they want to fix all the issues, but truth be told, finances have the final say in how much anyone can do with any issue. Funding for projects dictates how much can be spent. The bottom line tells the tale.
JT hopes one candidate will review the budgets they’ll get should they be elected into office and outline how the funds will be utilized according to their plan. That would be something to see!
There is a huge difference between running for and office and actually running an office.
