The City Planning and Zoning Dept. issued 51 permits with a valuation of $2,349,809 during July according to the monthly report from Director Juanita Fowler. More than one permit was issued on several jobs. The Natchitoches Parish School Board obtained the two largest permits for HVAC units at East Natchitoches Elementary for $632,000 and Natchitoches Magnet School for $1,046,000. There were 11 applications for new roofs and numerous permits for either additions or alterations to residences.
