Superstitious date falls in Chiefs favor

Friday night, the Natchitoches Central Chiefs faced off against the Many Tigers, a team that beat them 29-20 a year ago. In only the second game of the season the Chiefs looked like a complete team.
Before the game the chiefs were coming in after a tough loss at home against North DeSoto. In the first quarter the Tigers jumped out to an early lead coming off a 28-yard rushing touchdown. The Chiefs first drive of the game resulted in their first three and out of the evening.
On the Tigers second drive the Chiefs forced a fumble that was recovered by Ferman Walker. On their second drive, the Chiefs found the endzone off a 25-yard touchdown from Derienne Robinson to Jalen Wilson, giving the Chiefs the lead, 7-6. PAT by Sam Maggio…
