NCHS Class of 1979 Reunion

The Natchitoches Central High School class of 1979 recently enjoyed a weekend visiting with high school friends at their 40th class reunion. The weekend began the evening of Friday, Aug. 30 with a meet and greet at the Cane River Brewery. Saturday, Aug. 30 included a ride on the Cane River Queen as they visited about years gone by. Saturday evening concluded with an evening meal at the Mariner Restaurant. Deceased class members were remembered during a memorial where the names were read as a floating candle was lit in their memory. The poem “The Empty Chair” by Robert Longley was also read.
