Robert Glenn “Pee Wee” Walker, 60, went to be with his Lord Sept. 25, 2019, at his residence in Hazlehurst, Miss. He was born July 27, 1959, to Alaman and Marie Walker in Hobbs, N.M.
Robert loved hunting and fishing and grew up on Black Lake in Campti. He was an excellent welder. Robert was a graduate of Fairview Alpha High School.
Preceding him in death were his grandparents, Franklin and Claudia Walker and Paralee Black; father, Alaman Walker; uncles, Sonny, Glenn, Ronnie and Donnie Black; aunt, Mary Giddens; uncles, Sam, Bob, Marion and Muchie Walker; aunt, Mildred Roberts; Godchild and niece, Samantha Coleman; and great-nephew, Brayden Theriot.
Those left to cherish his memory are his wife, Lanita Walker of Hazlehurst; mother, Marie Walker of Campti; son, William Pete Moreau of Hazlehurst; daughters, Bridget Walker of Baton Rouge, Misty Walker, Mandy Walker and Dana Moreau, all of Hazlehurst; brothers, Chuck Walker and wife Raynell of Marshall, Texas, and Dennis Walker and wife Pam of Natchitoches; sisters, Toni Beaudoin and husband Patrick and Glenda Carter, all of Campti; eight grandchildren, Addison, Aaron and Aubree Roy, Ava and Aiden Walker, Case and Brett Moreau and Amber Hisaw; and many cousins and dear friends. He had so much love for his family.
Pallbearers are Matthew Coleman, Jonathan Coleman, William Allen, Johnny Scott, Michael Hoffman, Roy Patrick, Mann Newman and Octazious Hillard.
Honorary pallbearer is Cecil Smith.
Funeral services were at Bethel Baptist Church in Hazlehurst Friday, Sept. 27.
