Ladies Love Taildraggers

Ladies Love Taildraggers, a national women pilots flying organization, is hosting their annual fly-in at the Natchitoches Airport this weekend. Members from across the country have gathered for three days of flying fun. The group, along with LA Tech’s Women In Aviation chapter and the 99’s organization, will host “Girls In Aviation Day” Saturday, Oct. 5 at 1:30 p.m. at the Natchitoches Regional Airport. The event introduces girls 8-17 to aviation. Local girls are invited to come out, meet the pilots and learn more about the world of aviation. From left are pilots (with their trademark stiletto heels) Lisa Kienholz, founder Judy Birchler, local tour guide Kathy Guin and Andrea McGilvray.
