The Natchitoches Central Chiefs, who currently own a 1-4 record for fifth place in the 5A District 1, will host the Southwood Cowboys, who own a 1-5 record putting them last in district. They will meet up at Turpin Stadium Friday, Oct. 11 at 7 p.m. for their first game at home after a tough four game road trip.
The Cowboys, like the Chiefs, are coming off a district loss. With only five games left in the regular season, three will play out at Turpin Stadium. The Chiefs ultimately need to win to sneak into the playoff picture. They hope to start a five-game win streak in front of the home crowd during homecoming week.
