American flag donated to school in memory of Thomas T. Elkins

Provencal third grader Will Elkins and eighth grader Leyton Whittington assisted in raising the new flag by Rodney Meziere, a PJHS seventh-eighth grade ELA teacher and 4-H sponsor.

The Elkins family donated a new American flag to Provencal Elementary and Junior High School in memory of Thomas T. Elkins. Elkins graduated from Northwestern State University and was a former Natchitoches Parish teacher and principal.
