The Lakeview Gators will face the Red River Bulldogs Friday, Oct. 25 in Coushatta.

In recent years, Red River has taken the bout by a surplus of points, but the new and improved Gators will look to change the tale of this huge rivalry. The toughest challenge the Gators will face this week are the athletes. Lakeview is known for spreading the ball around to their many athletic weapons, but Red River shows the same identity, making for a great night of matchups to watch.

“The Bulldog QB is the best athlete we’ve faced all season,” Head Coach Brandon Helms said. “He can hurt you on the ground just as much as in the air, a major dual threat.”

The Lakeview offense will have a tough time going against the Bulldog defense, but there are some holes to hit in the running game that can lead to Lakeview’s success. Winning the turnover battle will be a huge part of Lakeview’s success this Friday as well.

#13 DB Mar’Kedious Carter

Expected to have a big game is #13 CB Mar’Kedious Carter. Carter is still looking for his first interception this year, and may be able to come up with it against Red River. It will definitely be a matchup to watch in Coushatta this Friday.

Every Gator fan needs to come out and support their team in one of the biggest games of the year.
