Natchitoches Central Chiefs Host Benton Tigers on the final game of the season


The Natchitoches Central Chiefs, with a 3-6 record putting them out of playoffs, will host the Benton Tigers, who have a 4-3 record. This game gives them a chance to sneak into the playoffs. The game is scheduled at Turpin Stadium Friday, Nov. 8 at 7 p.m. This will be the last game of the season.

This game will define how the Chiefs want to end their season.

The seniors, celebrating senior night, are looking to finish their last game of high school football with a win.

Players to Watch

Offensively: Senior Rodney Robinson leads the team in rushing yards with 773 yards and 10 rushing TDs. He has been a threat running the ball all season. You can expect him to make a statement in his last game. Senior Carlos Moses Jr. is leading the team in receptions (17) and receiving yards (237).

In their final game as a Chief you can expect both to have a good game.

Defensively: Seniors Shamar Seastrunk and John Waskom have a combined 193 tackles on the year. Senior Jaylin White and Nate Lawson are both tied with two interceptions on the year. On defense these seniors have been making plays all year and will continue to do so in their final game as a Chief.
