Orie left his mark on the old sanctuary in the form of the stained-glass windows that are prominently displayed.
Orie suffered with the general health problems of the elderly the past few years as well as Alzheimers disease. He was bedridden the past few years and finally succumbed to a stroke which left him a few days of life. He will be missed greatly by many people who loved him for the kind, Christian man he was.
