There will be a time change for the City Council meeting Monday, Jan. 13. The pre-meeting will begin at 4:30 p.m. and the meeting will begin at 5 p.m.
The meeting will be moved back to the Natchitoches Arts Center at 716 Second St., in the newly renovated City Council Chambers.
The agenda will include the following:
•Introduction of change of zoning at 1504 Gold St., from R-3 to R-3 Residence Multiple Family for Save the Children Head Start
•Introduction to change zoning at 219Williams Ave., from R-1 to R-1 Special Exception for bed and breakfast
There will be final votes on the following:
•Purchase of land from Bruce Family Holdings for $8,000 and from Waymon W. Ham Jr. and Rose Ham for $8,500
•Change of policy in personnel manual
•Award bid for caustic soda for water treatment plant The council will introduce the following ordinances:
•Acquisition of hangar at airport from Harold Foster and Laurie Berry for $13,000
•Purchase of land on Sixth Street from Eagle Distributing
•Extending City limits to include 275 acres for Parc Natchitoches
•Budget amendment City offices will close Monday, Jan. 20 for Martin Luther King Jr. Day. The next scheduled meeting will be Monday, Jan. 27.
