#2 Chiefs travel to face district foe Benton Feb. 7 at 7 p.m.

The Natchitoches Central boys’ varsity team is traveling Friday, Feb. 7 to play the Tigers for the second time this season. Tip off is 7 p.m. After Friday’s victory over the Airline Vikings, the Chiefs’ winning streak has advanced to seven.

They own a record of 21-2; the best in the district. This game will be the second time in a month they have faced off against the Tigers. The Chiefs can expect to play in a hostile environment against a team that is looking for revenge and to knock the best team in the district off their pedestal.

This season, the Chiefs have dominated on the road winning all but one of their games. They look forward to being able to continue this trend.

Devonta Snow has been a walking bucket the entire season and has defensively made plays when his teammates needed him the most. In addition to Snow, Nathan Curtis, Aydrion Brown, Darius Young and Jaiden Hare have made key baskets and defensive plays to keep their streak alive.
