Natchitoches Police make arrests in local business burglaries



The Natchitoches Police Department has arrested three juveniles in connection with two burglaries that took place at Natchitoches Powersports.

Over the past two weeks, NPD was notified of two burglaries at Natchitoches Powersports resulting in over $10,000 worth of property being stolen, including five ATVs and one dirt bike.

Detectives positively identified the juveniles on video surveillance and arrested them without incident.

Two juvenile suspects were charged with two counts of Simple Burglary and were placed in the Ware Youth Center where they are awaiting bond.

The other juvenile was charged with Simple Burglary and was released to their guardian.

NPD reminds citizens to note the brand, model and serial number on all valuable items and firearms.  The serial numbers can help officers identify and recover items.
