Technology in Education Grant

The A+ Coalition, an initiative of the Natchitoches Chamber of Commerce, presented its first Technology in Education Grant at the school board meeting Thursday. Wendi Worsham is an EMR-EMT teacher at Natchitoches Central and will use the grant to buy an interactive smart table for use by the 120 students in the program. It is 3D technology that enables the students to “travel through the body” and delve into the body with hands on activities. The grant was for $6,308.
