Natchitoches Jr. High School’s JAG (Jobs for America’s Graduates) members will begin their next community service project next week: Pennies for Patients.
The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society’s (LLS) Pennies for Patients program is working with thousands of schools across the country to raise funds for blood cancer research and patient support services. The school has partnered with LLS to take on the mission of ending cancer once and for all.
After kicking off Monday, Feb. 17, the fundraiser will continue for the next four weeks. Their target goal is $750 (every penny benefits pennies for patients through therapy and/or research). To donate and to learn more, visit https://events.lls.org/pages/msla/Natchitoches-Jr-Hs-Frankie-Ray-2020.
