Debra Faye Jackson, 61, of Natchitoches passed away Tuesday, Feb. 11, 2020, following a prolonged illness.

Born Feb. 13, 1958, in Montgomery, she was a loving mother, wife, friend, sister and grandmother.

Debra, first and foremost, loved Jesus. She was dedicated to her church, Faith Family Church, Natchitoches, where she was an active member. Debra would always lend a helping hand when needed and faithfully donated time, energy and funds to her church. Her church family had a special place in her heart. She was a very hardworking, honest homemaker with lots of integrity who cleaned homes and businesses for a living. She also loved her animals and was a great mother to her four children.

Debra was preceded in death by her mother, Margie Marie Jackson; father, Arnon Franklin Jackson; uncles, Edgar C. Jackson and Thomas James “TJ” Jackson; and aunts, Hattie C. Jackson and Joy Terrell.

Those left to cherish her memory are her four children: son, Virgil Stacey Dyson and wife Dea’ of Crescent, Okla., and their children Jessica, Phallioan and AllyMorgan Dyson; daughter, Deidra Dietrich and husband Joey of Lafayette and children Nevaeh, Payton, Mya and Mycah Dietrich; son, Samuel Holloway of Shreveport and children Genesis and Koty Holloway; and son, Gabriel Holloway of Shreveport; great-grandchildren, Clara and Sky McMillan; brother, Stan Jackson and wife Shelia; sisters, Jo Jackson and Jean Fredieu and husband Benny; two special friends who became family, Jennifer Wilson and Judy Fair; her pastor and wife, Steve and Teri Ciaccio; and numerous nieces, nephews, family and friends.

Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m., Thursday, Feb. 13 and again from 10 a.m. until service time at 11 a.m. Friday, Feb. 14 at Faith Family Church, 131 Sorgee Road, Natchitoches. Burial will follow at Hargis Memorial Cemetery, 1313 La. 122, Montgomery.

Those honored to serve as pallbearers are her sons, Stacey Dyson, Samuel Holloway and Gabriel Holloway; son-in-law, Joey Dietrich; brother, Stan Jackson; and friend, Gary Holloway.
