•‘Not in my house’ on Senior Night

As of Feb. 11, the Lady Tigers had the number 2 seed in Division IV standings. They should retain that spot as playoff brackets are released.

•Middle Lab School eighth-grader Kaylee Stacy is shown with her mother, Mary Edith Stacy, and a Juvan rusa deer that the 13-year-old took on a hunt last year. Kaylee Stacy, recognized as the Dallas Safari Club’s Young Hunter of the Year for 2019, and another acclaimed local big game hunter, Shawn Daily, are featured Thursday evening at 6 in a free one-hour program at the Louisiana Sports Hall of Fame and Northwest Louisiana History Museum.

•The Third Annual JDC Alumni benefit fishing tournament will be Saturday, April 11 on Sibley Lake at the Hwy 3191 boat launch. A Sibley Lake permit and valid fishing license are required to participate. The two-man team tournament begins at safe daylight with weigh in at 2 p.m. Top three places and big bass payout.
