Voices of Influence program March 3


NATCHITOCHES – Northwestern State University’s Gallaspy College of Education and Human Development will host the inaugural Voices of Influence program, an endowed professorship celebration, beginning at 4 p.m. Tuesday, March 3 in the Teacher Education Center Auditorium.


According to Dr. Kim McAlister, dean, the program will allow faculty from the Department of Psychology and School of Education that were awarded an endowed professorship to share their research, scholarship and/or service that each professorship made possible.


Topics will include the Call Me MISTER program, high leverage research practices for disability, diversity and equity; the impact of international research and play, learning and the brain.


Faculty, friends and students are invited to the program that will feature the work of seven professors in five-minute segments.  Guests will also be able to see 2020-2022 application and ask questions.  The program will conclude with refreshments and a time of socializing with colleagues.
