Natchitoches City Court will be open but is requesting the public to consider the restrictions as outlined by the CDC. Please refrain from coming to the office if you have fever, cough or shortness of breath or have been around someone with these conditions. If you have had fever within the last 48 hours, please refrain from visiting the City Court offices.
Many things can be done over the phone. The City Court number is 318-352-6666. If we can’t help, we will do our best to get you the number of the agency that can.
If you have a Civil or Criminal hearing scheduled and are unsure about it, please call your attorney. If you aren’t represented by an attorney, please call City Court.
If you have been notified to be in court for March 19 or March 24, court for those dates is cancelled. You will be notified of your new court date. Please call City Court with any questions. (318-352-6666)
City Court is open 8:30 a.m.-4:30 p.m., and will continue to process civil cases and any documents necessary for this purpose. Staff will also be available to answer your questions concerning traffic and criminal matters.
Please call first.
Please help us adjust to the changes. We hope they are short term, but they are needed as we work to keep service, commerce, and access to justice moving forward.
With kindest regards,
Judge Fred S. Gahagan
Rhonda Roge’, Clerk/Court Administrator
