Members of the community will hold a prayer vigil Sunday, March 29 at 8 p.m. at the Natchitoches Regional Medical Center parking lot on Isadore Street directly behind the former Rite Aid building.
The purpose is to pray over our local hospital and its employees during this difficult time.
Everyone is welcome. This will be a “stay in your vehicle” event. It is very important that everyone abide by the ordinance.
Natchitoches City Police officers will be present to help with traffic.
Opening prayer will be prerecorded by Mike McGrath, First Baptist Church, Youth Pastor, music by Leonard Sarpy and prerecorded closing prayer by Christie Price, Fellowship of Christian Athletes Area Representative.
Tammy Metoyer stated, “This is something I wanted to do for our community and I knew with the help of some phenomenal women and our law enforcement, we could get it done!” This vigil is near and dear to Metoyer as her sons and their girlfriends all work in the medical field in Natchitoches.
The prayer vigil will also be available via Facebook Live on the Natchitoches Regional Medical Center page.
