State Police asking if there are any independent witnesses to Rollo fatal crash

Louisiana State Police is continuing to investigate the single-vehicle crash that claimed the life of a Natchitoches teenager on May 3rd according to the Natchitoches Parish Sheriff’s Office.

The crash claimed the life of 19-year-old Wesley A. Rollo of Natchitoches, La.

Rollo was traveling westbound on La. Hwy 494 south of Natchitoches on May 3 at approximately 10:02pm, when he exited the roadway on the right traveled through a ditch striking a culvert head-on. The vehicle then flipped coming to a rest on its side ejecting Rollo.

The vehicle then caught fire.

Wes was transported by EMS to Natchitoches Regional Medical Center and later airlifted to an Alexandria hospital where he succumbed to his injuries.
