CRNHA to host Independence Day Craft Club

Cane River National Heritage Area, Inc. (CRNHA) will host a virtual craft event titled: “Independence Day Craft Club” July 3 at 10 a.m.

The Heritage Explorer Craft Club is a virtual comprehensive learning and exploration experience with hands-on crafts, guest-starring local experts from our heritage sites. This month, Heritage Explorers will be decorating Uncle Sam’s hat while learning about the history of the stars and stripes from Heritage Ranger Logan Schlatre.

Each craft kit is $10 which includes all crafting supplies and a 30-minute class that provides crafting instructions and an educational lesson on Facebook live.

Here’s how to participate:

  1. Register and purchase your craft kit via Eventbrite on the Facebook event at Cane River NHA.
  2. Pick up the craft kit on July 1 and 2 from noon-1 p.m. or 3-4 p.m. at the CRNHA office, 1115 Washington Street.
  3. Tune in to Zoom on July 3 at 10 a.m.
