Feb. 3, 1975-July 17, 2020
On Friday, July 17, 2020, Keisha Diane Drewett Brugier, loving daughter, wife, mother and grandmother went to heaven after a brief illness at her home in Floresville, Texas, at the age of 45. She was surrounded by her devoted family.
Born Feb. 3, 1975, in New Orleans, Keisha lived most of her life in Galliano, La., where she was a graduate of South Lafourche High School.
Keisha had a passion for art and was a big animal lover. She combined the two loves in paintings and drawings that she created of her dogs and other animals that could be seen throughout her house. Keisha loved everyone she met and had the power to shun adversity with a smile. Her love and kindness attracted numerous friends throughout her life.
Keisha was preceded in death by her grandparents, Wiley and Jewell Breedlove Sharbino and Early and Eva Drewett; and aunt and uncles, Mattie Jackson Pruett, Bobby Gene Sharbino and Kenneth Drewett.
Left to cherish the memories of their only child are her parents, Hulon and Wanda Drewett of Floresville, Texas; husband, Wade Brugier; son and daughter-in-law, Hagan and Taylon Cheramie and grandson Levi Paul Cheramie, all of Floresville; uncles, Clinton and Avery Sharbino and Gerald Pruett; aunts, Brenda K. Powell and Belinda Lawrence; and a host of other relatives and friends who will truly miss her sparkling personality.
Heaven has gained an angel. We will always miss our sweet baby girl.
